What is Pupil Premium?
Pupil Premium Funding is additional money given to schools in England to raise the attainment of eligible pupils and narrow the gap between their attainment and their peers.
Who is eligible?
- A pupil who is in receipt of Free School Meals
- Pupils who are registered as ‘Children Looked After’ for more than six months
- Pupils who were adopted from Care on or after 30th December 2005
- Children from Service Families
As a school we have allocated the Pupil Premium to provide a range of opportunities to support the pupils who are eligible for the Pupil Premium. These are/were intended to accelerate their learning and progress and promote social inclusion. All interventions have been measured against nationally recognised evidence of impact and suitability to meeting individual needs of our pupils.
