At The Rose School we offer some of our pupils the opportunity to access alternative provision to education.

Not all pupils are the same. We celebrate the fact that our students are different, it’s what makes us all unique! For reasons that are pertinent for the individual pupil, an alternative personalised education and placement may be a good opportunity to engage some of our students.

We understand that a school environment is not always the right place for all our pupils to learn!

Rose+ is a department within our school that provides and delivers meaningful and quality education to students who struggle to engage within the school setting.

Our aim is to re-engage disaffected pupils in order to build a sense of self-worth and give aspiration and the ability to go onto education, employment or training.

There are many ways in which we achieve this! Not only do we draw on the expertise of our own staff in order to ensure our Rose+ provision is progressive and rich in skills, we also draw upon the expertise of alternative providers in and around our locality. These providers include schools, colleges and businesses who specialise in providing engaging experiences for our students.
